Playmedia Group has designed and executed a large-scale project at the Basilica of Montserrat, transforming this iconic site into a unique immersive experience.

Through imagery, light, music, art, and architecture, we relive like never before the thousand years of history, faith, and culture of Montserrat. A sensory journey that connects the past and the present, inviting a rediscovery of this millennial symbol from a new perspective.

The original soundtrack is an impressive large-scale symphonic-choral work, inspired by the main motifs of the Virolai, becoming the guiding thread.
In a Gothic building of architectural significance and modernist paintings, interventions span from the presbytery to the perimeter arches, the altar, the choir, and the nave. Even the chandeliers in the nave, representative of Catalan jewelry style…

A global project where a state-of-the-art audio, lighting, and projection system has been created to accompany the experience. More than 2.5 million visitors will be able to enjoy this immersive audiovisual experience.
