The purpose of creating this centre is to make the Puerta Este into the starting point for visiting the Navia Historical Park. The exhibit shows a broad range of stories about the sea, featuring the art of fishing, testimonies from bygone days and local products from this region in northern Spain. The range of museographic resources employed here have made the cent re a point of reference amongst heritage sites where visitors can take in Asturias’ maritime heritage.
